It's a cross between an old fashioned diner, and a decent Greek restaurant. The souvlaki is consistently delicious, but it's served with french fries as opposed to rice and potatoes! |

Decent food, good prices, lousy atmosphere

I truly think that if this restaurant weren't right next to Humber College on Lakeshore, it wouldn't be able to stay in business. Their cheap beer and reasonably-priced food keep the students coming back. The decor is tacky, and you sit on plastic lawn chairs. The main waitress is often snippy, unless of course you speak a word of Greek then she loves you. The chicken souvlaki is quite tasty, but why can't they do it the proper way, with those delicious Greek potatoes? The roast beef is perfect for a cold winter's day. Anyhow, yes, I'll continue to go back. But mainly because there's nothing better in the area. |
