I love seeing movies here, the only problem is the price of the tickets. I do get a great price by being a member of CAA motor club, you get a discounted ticket price of around $8.00 by visiting a CAA location and asking for movie passes, they don't have any restrictions either.By lowering the cost of things like popcorn, snacks and drinks it would encourage more people to see movies here. Another good thing about this theater is the show times are staggered well, you can see just about anything any time of day. |

I have to say that the Queensway cinema makes me cringe. Yes, some of the screens are a decent size, but that's perhaps the only redeeming feature of the theatre.Admission is like $12.50 per person, and food is ridiculously overpriced. However, I wouldn't be nearly as bothered if it didn't take 12 minutes just to get popcorn and a pop. Like, why haven't they figured out a system where there are already fresh bags of popcorn, and the guy can just grab one??? Anyhow, I know they're really putting out a strong message against movie piracy, but the strongest message would be to lower their prices. |
