Robbery (Vehicle Jacking) - 23 Division

An 18 year old male reports that between 0030 hours and 0040 hours, February 2, 2010, he was driving his vehicle in the area of Cabernet Circle and Martingrove Road, when three male suspects in a dark coloured Ford Explorer blocked his path.

The suspects surrounded the vehicle and one suspect punched the victim in the face and demanded that he exit the vehicle as he repeatedly swung a baton at the victim.

The suspect then pulled the victim from the vehicle.

Two suspects entered the vehicle while the third suspect returned to the Ford Explorer.

The suspects fled the scene in the vehicles in an unknown direction.

The victim sustained injuries but will seek his own medical attention.

Police are requesting the assistance of the public in identifying the following described persons in connection with this offence.

Description of Suspects:

  1. Male, white, 23 to 28 years, 5’3” to 5’11”, 119 to 130 pounds.
  2. Male, white, 25 to 30 years, long brown hair.
  3. Male, 25 to 30 years.
