On Wednesday, June 3, 2009, at approximately 4 p.m., police responded to a stabbing call near Redgrave Drive.
Officers located a 16-year-old boy in a park at the rear of an address on Redgrave Drive, suffering from an obvious stab wound.
He was taken to hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Police have arrested a 16-year-old boy, who has been charged with:
- Aggravated Assault,
- Carry Concealed Weapon,
- Weapons Dangerous.
The accused cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West, on Thursday, June 9, 2009, at 9 a.m.
