A great Etobicoke landmark was swiftly & silently beheaded & it seems nobody even batted an eyelash!

The Dominion clock tower which hovered proudly on West Mall between Queensway & Bloor, digitally displaying the time & weather across proximate intersections & HWY 427, has been extracted.

All that remains is a dismal cement block.

Will Metro swap the fancy D that once stood with a majestic M? Or is the landmark lost?

I hate Metro. They should have left the Dominion clock tower as it was.
