I have noticed the last few weeks that when the garbage men come down my street in South Etobicoke, they seem to leave a real mess behind.

The thing that really bothered me this week is that glass bottles were smashed when emptying the re-cycling into the truck and were not picked up by the driver.

Kids could get injured on debris left behind, even vehicles suffer damage from any broken glass and tin that is left on the road.

I thought the purpose of re-cycling was to be greener...
