THE PROPOSED LAKESHORE LRT (Light Rail Transit) WILL:

• BLOCK many left hand turns onto Lakeshore
• CAUSE TRAFFIC JAMS on side streets and increase pollution
• ELIMINATE car and bike lanes and most parking spaces
• REDUCE TRANSIT STOPS and frequency of service
• DIVIDE LAKESHORE BLVD with a raised concrete platform that will block emergency service vehicles
• HARM our blossoming retail development
