On Thursday, April 2, 2009, at 8 a.m, at the Woodbine Entertainment Complex, 555 Rexdale Boulevard, northwest parking lot, 23 Division officers will conduct a heavy truck and commercial vehicle enforcement blitz, entitled “Operation Safe Delivery,” that will end on Friday, April 3, 2009.

This enforcement initiative will be a joint venture involving the Ontario Provincial Police, Peel Regional Police, York Regional Police, and the Ontario Ministries of Transportation, Environment and Revenue.

The primary goal is public safety, through the removal of unsafe and potentially dangerous vehicles from our highways.

Keep YOUR vehicle well maintained, and you will help to make the roads in Etobicoke safer.
