In true MSTRKRFT fashion the first song off there new album (fist of god) comes with a bang using there trade mark in and out heavy and grimey synths and catchy 2 or 3 liner lyrics. On this album they decided to have a few guest vocals by such rappers and artist such as (john legend, lil mo,N.O.R.E,E-40,ghostface killah, jahmal of the carps and isis) this duo from the Toronto beaches area has been working for years to put there names on the map of the electronica scene. This is the second LP released, which was released on march 17. the singles off this album were "Bounce and Vuvuvu" which were released on April 1st of 08. this album came with fist pumping hits like (click click) and (Bounce), these song come with mixed emotions, you are compelled to dance to you drop and at the same time cause of there raw beats and raw hardcore sound you want to mosh. over all the songs to look out for on this album would have to be (Bounce,it ain't love, click click and heartbreaker). heartbreak features john legend really shows the versatile nature of MSTRKRFT in the electronica genre, they show that you can take the tempo down and have artist from different genres and still produce a good dance song. Overall this album is a buy for sure, it has a good structure of different guest vocals, tempos that give a more defined and hard hitting understanding to electronica and what can be done in this genre . this album i would give a 9/10. -Sam Mauerhofer A.K.A THE HOFF
