On Saturday night an elderly woman 71 years old collided with a car while riding her bike.

It happened while crossing Rexdale Boulevard just east of Highway 27 on Queen Plate Drive. Unfortunately she has been taken to hospital with sever head injuries.

The lady seemed to strike the side of the car, it was such an impact that it dented the vehicle's door and cracked the window.

The driver of the car didn't flee the scene, but remained until the Police and emergency vehicles arrived.
