On Thursday, March 12, 2009, at 3:37 p.m., police responded to a call for a collision near 333 Firgrove Crescent.

The 9-year-old boy ran onto Firgrove Crescent, from the south side towards the north side and was struck by a westbound Hyundai vehicle, the boy was pinned under the car.

The victim was transported to hospital with serious but non?life?threatening injuries.
