I was driving by Twenty Fifth street on the Lakeshore today around 2pm and I saw an Ambulance, a Paramedic S.U.V and about 6-7 police cruisers. I asked one of the police officers that was blocking access to 25th Street what was happening, Steve a police officer in the 22nd division which happens to be North Etobicoke division commented "a man in one of the buildings on 25th Street is not well. He is Suicidal and is threatening his own life". The man in the buildings suffers with mental health issues. The police were trying to negotiate with the man to try and help him. It was a sad thing to see, and local residence were worried about the whole situation.

It was amazing how many emergency workers and vehicles were involved with this one incident that was going on. There were many onlookers gathering to see the events also.

If any one has more information, please add to this story below.Blocked Lakeshore and 25th Street

I saw the cruisers parked there, and had wondered what was going. So sad that the man is not well. Fabulous reporting J.D.! You remind me of Jessica Fletcher (played by Angela Lansbury) in Murder She Wrote.
