The sidewalks at the top of 5th St, near Lakeshore seem to be taking too long to be finished. They were formed and poured last week, but for some reason the driveways are still all blocked off where work was done. I'm not really sure how long it takes for cement to cure to the point where a car can drive over it, but it seems like they've been 'drying' for quite some time. Now I just kind of feel sorry for the people with houses there - parking is already cramped enough, and now they can't even access their own driveways!

I walked down there the other day just after they had paved it and a dog had walked through the wet cement.
