72-year-old man found stabbed in apartment |

Today at noon police were called in around 12pm, to an apartment building at 1 Coin St (Lake Shore Boulevard West near Islington Avenue). A friend of the elderly man found him dead in his 13th-floor apartment and called police.
Even though they weren't aware of it by the phone call, it was obvious to police that this was murder, as apparently he showed signs of trauma.
This is apparently the second stabbing in less than 24 hours in the city.
