Etobicoke Police are still looking for the person responsible for attacking the driver of an Etobicoke TTC bus.
The incident took place on route near the East Mall and Rathburn, when the driver was punched and smacked in the head.
The suspect is described as male, black, with a black jacket. He was last seen fleeing the scene on foot.
TTC operators have been demanding increased safety and security aboard transit vehicles. So far, over 1,300 vehicles are equipped with cameras.
Officials are promising that all buses and streetcars will have cameras by the end of February 2009, which will be a relief not just for the drivers but also the passengers.
